In this section you'll learn to dance the basic step of the Dominican bachata,
Typically the bachata music brand rhythmic enough time to be equivalent to our steps.

1 - equivalent to a step
2 - equivalent to a step
3 - equivalent to a step

To start dancing in a simple way we can make the 4 with the tip of the foot to move without the weight and the count would be (1,2,3,4,)

Initiation of Practice:
Stand with your feet together, relaxed and with a slight flexion on the knees. Move around the body weight to right leg, leaving the left weight free.
Sidestep.
1 - We move the left leg to the left and move to its weight.
2 – We step together to the right leg and move the weight to the left
3 - We move the left leg back to the left and move the weight.
4 – We step together to the right leg and leave the left only to support the front of the foot without the weight.
5 - We take the right leg to the right and move weight to it.
6 – We step together the left leg to the right and move the weight.
7 – We move the right leg to the right and move the weight.
8 - We step together the left leg to the right and only support the front of the foot without the weight.
We can also perform the same step by moving forward and backwards.

Advanced Basic Step:
To achieve it means to make the cadence of the dance and perform hip movement so characteristic of the Bachata.

1 - We move the left leg to the left and move to its weight.
2 - We step together to the right leg and move the weight to the left
3 - We move the left leg back to the left and move the weight.
4 - We step together to the right leg and leave the left only to support the front of the foot doing a ball change.
5 - We take the right leg to the right and move weight to it.
6 – We step together the left leg to the right and move the weight.
7 – We move the right leg to the right and move the weight.
8 - We step together the left leg to the right and only support the front of the foot doing a setback.

The best thing would be to join a class, even better would be combining with visits to nightclubs and dance halls where there is lots of Dominican community and appreciate the genuine and distinctive swing that they have to dance and, above all, the feeling with which they do it.
Men respect women and do not awkward while dancing.
Women do not be afraid of the short distance to provide a man and feel the bachata with eyes closed. Eroticism ends when the last beat sounds ... if you choose to do so.
Definition of step:
m. Movement of each foot that progresses in walking.
They are each of the changes made in the different dances, and the movements you make with your feet.
We move as long as there are no separate specifications body motion towards the correct side, with the corresponding weight change, remember that we never have to dance the body's weight on both feet simultaneously.
